Why is my license key no longer valid after performing an upgrade of SQL Server?
A unique identifier is generated for every SQL Server installation. The unique identifier of the SQL Server is then used to generate the Machine Identifier and License Key. When an upgrade is performed, the original unique identifier for the SQL Server is updated. For this reason, the COZYROC's License Key requires to be generated again or the license key needs to be reset. Your License Key can be reset using the instructions in this Link.
Note: the Machine Identifier is dynamically generated
at the start of the License Application.
