“The remote server returned
an error: (403) Forbidden. (System)”
Solution:
This error typically occurs either due to Microsoft’s retirement of legacy authentication methods (NTLM/Basic) or the retirement of the passive SAML authentication method, related to the legacy WS-Fed and wsignin1.0. SharePoint Online now requires Modern
Authentication (OAuth 2.0 / Microsoft Identity). This change affects
connections to SharePoint Online that previously worked with basic
credentials.
To use SharePoint Online, you’ll need to switch to our Microsoft
Graph Connection, which fully supports Modern Authentication.
