How-To add a component to the SSIS Toolbox for SQL Server 2005 and 2008?
As of SQL Server 2012 , the SSIS Toolbox does not have the Choose Toolbox Items option.
Custom components are now automatically detected and added to the SSIS Toolbox.
The SSIS Toolbox Component can be easily customized. Items can be added, deleted, and/or rearranged within existing tabs or added to custom tabs.
To add a component to an existing tab, follow these simple steps.
From the Tools menu, Click Choose Toolbox Items .
When the Choose Toolbox Item dialog box appears, Type CozyRoc in the text box of the Filter: to display COZYROC components only.
Click on the Check Box next to the component to add the component.
Click the OK button.
Note: if the following message is displayed "The following controls were successfully added to the toolbox, but not enabled in the active designer:", the
controls added are not compatible with the current designer and .Net Framework version.
Please do not confuse the regular Toolbox for the SSIS Toolbox.
The COZYROC components are found on the SSIS Toolbox which can be found in Visual Studio by selecting the SSIS menu item in Visual Studio and selecting SSIS Toolbox.
