Error Message: License: 'License.dat' file not found.
Action:
When executing a package from SQL Server Agent job or when opening the COZYROC License Manager the following error was encountered:
Error Message:
License.dat file not found.
Solution:
There are two possible solutions:
- The error message shows up because the server is not licensed. You can retrieve your license key by following the instructions from the following article:
- If your server is licensed and you still get the same error message, to resolve that issue please follow the intrusctions below:
1) You need to change the permissions on the License file from inherited to explicit. To do that please follow the steps from the following KB article:
2) You need to make sure your SQL Job agent user account has all the needed permissions. Please look at the following KB article:
