Can I test packages using SSIS+ components without buying a license?

Yes. You can download the complete suite, develop packages using the components and test the packages in Visual Studio for free.

The components in the suite are exactly the same as the components you’ll be using once you purchase a license. The only thing you will not be able to do if you do not have a license is to automate the execution of your packages…that requires a license key.

A trial license key is available so that you can test the automation of your packages before purchasing a license. The trial key will work for 30 days. After that, you must purchase a license to continue to automate the execution of your packages.
